It was a busy night at the latest Strakers Land & Property Auction with a full room and a lot more bidders than expected....... Contrary to some professional opinions the property market was shown to be in good shape with some impressive figures achieved. The small parcels of land did very well including a shed selling for £34,000. The highlight of the night had to be a detached 4 bedroom house in Norton St. Philip which had two bidders who very obviously had fallen in love with it and after what seemed to be an age and some intense bidding it sold at £685,000 (GP 550,000+) and finished with a round of applause.
